My Story
On 3rd May I will be running AJ Bell Birmingham half marathon for an incredibly special reason- my niece Amelia, who has bravely beaten Lukaemia.
Watching Amelia go through her cancer journey showed our family just how tough, frigtening, and life changing cancer can be - not just for Amelia but for everyone around them who loves them. We as a family were incredibly lucky to have support along the way, and that is why I am fundraising for YOUNG LIVES Vs CANCER, a charity that supports children and young people with cancer, and their families when they need it the most.
Young Lives Vs cancer provides help form practical and emotional support to guidance through the most overwhelming moments so that families can focus on what truly matters.
Every mile I run is for Amelia as she was so strong and brave throughout her whole cancer journey and every donation no matter how small will help other children and families facing cancer feel less alone.
Thanks for taking the time to read my personal story, for donating if you can and for cheering me on. Your support genuinely means the world
If you are unable to donate could you share this page so it reaches as many people as possible
Thanks Again
Dee
